FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (FL)
 Back    Itinerary

Fort Lauderdale lies along the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the New River, 25 miles north of Miami. Its warm tropical weather attracts many people throughout the year. For sun-worshippers, the city has six miles of beaches.

There are also many recreational waterways with extensive boating facilities, access to every conceivable watersport, a variety of fascinating museums and trendy restaurants, and an array of entertainment venues.

There is an abundance of things to see and do in the Ft. Lauderdale area:

• Take a 30-minute airboat ride across the Everglades, one of the most breathtaking natural areas in America. Discover a variety of fish and birds that inhabit the area, and perhaps see the most famous Everglades inhabitant - the alligator.

• Enjoy Sawgrass Reptile Exhibit after your ride and take the opportunity to touch or possibly hold a small alligator. Discover the replica of a Seminole Indian village. See tropical birds, rare snakes, and even the endangered Florida panther.

• Take a narrated drive through Port Everglades over the Intercoastal Waterway and along the famous Fort Lauderdale Beach. Explore the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Shop the luxurious stores on Las Olas Boulevard, explore the Riverwalk area and more. Stop and see Esplanade Park, the crossroads of the Center for Performing Arts and the Museum of Discovery and Science.

• Take a 90-minute Intercoastal Waterway cruise, and hear a lively commentary from the boat's captain on the history of the New River and Fort Lauderdale's historic sites.

LABADEE, HAITI
 Back    Itinerary
<empty> On the north coast of Hispaniola, surrounded by beautiful mountain slopes and exotic foliage, sits Labadee®, Royal Caribbean's private paradise. This exclusive destination offers pristine beaches, breathtaking scenery and spectacular water activities. We even have an amazing new Aqua Park for kids.

Regardless of where you go, you'll find yourself embraced by the beautiful landscape. Labadee's native charm, along with its natural beauty, make this a destination not to be missed, and only Royal Caribbean can take you there.

FALMOUTH, JAMAICA
 Back    Itinerary
Step off the ship and step back in time. Time where quaint wooden houses lined the streets, village carpenters hand craft custom furniture, and tavern keepers warmly greet town guests. Falmouth Jamaica is often compared with Colonial Williamsburg, but this particular historic town comes with an advantage - the beautiful Caribbean Sun.

You'll return with sun kissed skin, timeless memories as well as interesting historical tidbits to share with friends, like this one: Falmouth received piped water before New York City.

COZUMEL, MEXICO
 Back    Itinerary

The Conquistadors first saw Mexico from the shores of Cozumel while searching for gold. Today, visitors to the island continue to seek out gold and silver jewelry in the shops of San Miguel while having a great time in its many local bars and restaurants. Plus, the waters around Cozumel's sheltered coral reefs make this one of the best snorkeling areas in the world.

Don't miss the opportunity to explore the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of Tulúm, majestically perched above the turquoise Caribbean. The site was occupied as far back as 600 A.D. However, it was most densely populated around 1200 A.D.

You will be struck by the pyramid-shaped El Castillo, which dominates the city from atop a forty-foot cliff. The nearby Temple of the Descending God provides equally excellent insight into the architecture of the Mayan people, who gained considerable achievements in the arts and sciences, only to decline and vanish for no apparent reason.

Cozumel Attractions:    Cozumel Photo Gallery

Castillo Real - (Royal Castle)

Cedral, a small village is the agricultural center of Cozumel. Many Mayan ruins can be found in and around its confines.

Celarin Lighthouse on the southwest tip of the island. Fantastic view from the top if you can handle the 127 steps.

Chankanaab Park

Chichen-Itza, Tulum & Coba - Mayan Riviera

El Cedral - Located about two miles off the main highway, this is the easiest to reach of Cozumel's ruins. It is believed to be the oldest on the island.

Museo de Cozumel - Features displays showcasing Cozumel's history, people and natural geography.

Museum of Indigenous Instruments - Showcases over 600 authentic pre-Hispanic instruments from all over Mexico.

Museo de las Isla de Cozumel - Cozumel Mexico
The museum features art exhibits, pieces from the Mayan culture and the Spanish conquest and displays life in Cozumel from the 1940's to today.

San Gervasio Mayan Ruins (pronounced san-her-ba-see-oh) is a major excavation of Mayan ruins covering an area of about 10 acres and situated in beautiful & cool forest surroundings. While not as impressive as Tulum or Chichen Itza, San Gervasio provides you with a sense of the Mayan culture and history.

San Miguel - Cozumel Mexico
Cozumel's only town has kept some of the flavor of a Mexican village.
