From
Zimmerman, Minnesota, Steve Marcio and
his 18 year-old son Tommy are thrilling
audiences with their impressive tribute to Elvis, "The Elvis Experience".
When Tommy takes the stage, he instantly becomes a crowd favorite.
He has won numerous awards, including the prestigious “Spirit of Elvis” award, voted by the fans, at the Elvis Explosion in LaCrosse WI in both the 2008 and 2009. He has performed as a special guest in the Owens Theater in Branson MO in 2007 and at the Medina Ballroom with Betty Rydell in 2008. Tommy was featured in the TV series “Life to the Maxx” on WCCO in 2009.
Close your eyes and when Steve Marcio sings, you would think it
is Elvis singing. Steve's energetic and flawless performance has won him first place in the "2007 Contest of Kings" at the Mall of America. He also placed first at the "Ultimate Elvis Contest" in Branson, MO in March 2007, and was a finalist at the Elvis Explosion in 2008. He was featured on a segment of the “Out and About” show on WCCO TV in February, 2007. FORT
LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (FL)
|
|
Fort
Lauderdale lies along the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of
the New River, 25 miles north of Miami. Its warm tropical
weather attracts many people throughout the year. For sun-worshippers,
the city has six miles of beaches.
There are also
many recreational waterways with extensive boating facilities,
access to every conceivable watersport, a variety of fascinating
museums and trendy restaurants, and an array of entertainment
venues. |
 |
| There is an abundance of things
to see and do in the Ft. Lauderdale area: |
| •
Take a 30-minute airboat ride across the Everglades, one
of the most breathtaking natural areas in America. Discover
a variety of fish and birds that inhabit the area, and perhaps
see the most famous Everglades inhabitant - the alligator.
• Enjoy
Sawgrass Reptile Exhibit after your ride and take the opportunity
to touch or possibly hold a small alligator. Discover the
replica of a Seminole Indian village. See tropical birds,
rare snakes, and even the endangered Florida panther. |
•
Take a narrated drive through Port Everglades over the Intercoastal
Waterway and along the famous Fort Lauderdale Beach. Explore
the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Shop the luxurious
stores on Las Olas Boulevard, explore the Riverwalk area
and more. Stop and see Esplanade Park, the crossroads of
the Center for Performing Arts and the Museum of Discovery
and Science.

• Take a 90-minute Intercoastal Waterway cruise, and
hear a lively commentary from the boat's captain on the
history of the New River and Fort Lauderdale's historic
sites. |

What
makes Nassau so special? Picture an idyllic place with
stretches of perfect white sand beaches, gracefully swaying
coconut palms offering oases of shade, and warm, crystal
clear waters revealing the secrets of incredible multi-colored
marine life. Whether you spend the day shopping for duty-free
gifts and mementos, taking a carriage ride past sorbet-colored
buildings, or touring in a glass-bottom boat, chances
are you'll leave this happy place in the Bahamas with
lots of beautiful memories. |

 |
St.
Thomas is known as an idyllic vacation spot today, but its
history is not so peaceful. In the 18th century, the island
was at the center of a bustling pirate culture, as swashbuckling
pirates such as Blackbeard and Drake traded stolen wares in
the port of Charlotte Amalie. |
This
world-renowned Caribbean island is home to amazing beaches,
gorgeous sea and landscapes and unbelievable duty-free shopping. |
|
 |
When the
Spanish closed their colonial fort on St. Maarten in 1648,
a few Dutch and French soldiers hid on the island and decided
to share it. Soon after, the Netherlands and France signed
a formal agreement to split St. Maarten in half, as it is
today. |
Philipsburg
displays its Dutch heritage in its architecture and landscaping.
The island offers endless stretches of beach, beautiful landscapes
and great shopping. |
